13/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - After its emergency debate in Strasbourg on Thursday, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the fate of sailors on the Tasman Spirit oiltanker that sank on 27 July 2003, causing an environmental disaster. The European Parliament says it is unacceptable that crew members are being held in custody in Pakistan (4 Greeks and 3 Filipinos) and urges the Pakistani government to release them, along with engineer Nicolaos Pappas who helped pump out the 9000...
