GENERAL NEWS / (eu) ep/agencies

16/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Teresa Almeida Garett (EPP-ED, Portugal), the European Parliament warmly welcomes the Commission's communication on the framework for European regulation agencies and asks to be actively involved in the appointment of agency directors. It also requests that a time limit be put on the activities of these agencies.
