16/01/2004 (Agence Europe) -With the adoption of the report by French Socialist Martine Roure, the European Parliament approved the conclusion of a United Nations Convention against organised crossborder crime and two additional protocols: (1) against the illegal trafficking of migrants and, (2) aimed at preventing, cracking down on and punishing the trade in persons, mainly in women and children.
