16/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Lusa Agency has indicated that the Philippines has rejected the approach of eleven ambassadors from EU countries, which had asked the country to not execute prisoners sentenced to death following a three year moratorium. President Gloria Arroyo has said that she has taken this request into consideration and hoped that the EU would recognise that this was an internal matter of the country.
