Commission to come out with proposals on 25 January following Wednesday's orientation debate

Brussels, 06/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will be having an orientation debate on Wednesday on the EU's financial perspectives, declared one of the Commission's spokespersons on Tuesday. Gerassimos Thomas, spokesperson for Commissioner Pedro Solbes also indicated that the adoption by the College of the final document on financial perspectives was expected during the special meeting on Sunday 25 January.
