Brussels, 01/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - In a letter to the signatories of the Geneva initiative, EU High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, congratulates Israel's Yossi Beilin and Palestinian Yasser Abed Rabbo. It takes courage and determination to seek concrete solutions to the tragic and complex Israeli-Palestinian conflict, notes Solana, adding that they have worked hard and unveiled a coherent package of proposals.
