EP suggests a number of amendments for proposal on compensation to victims of crime

Strasbourg, 27/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has welcomed the European Commission proposal on compensation for victims of crime but is suggesting a number of amendments. By adopting the report of Roberta Angelilli UEN, Italy) last week by 431 votes for, 35 against, and 5 abstentions, the EP is requesting that the field of application for this draft directive be extended and clarified.
