EU calls on Palestinian Authority to group its security services under the authority of the Prime Minister

Brussels, 17/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, in its conclusions, the European Council restated its criticism of the "security fence" built by Israel in the occupied territories and called on the Palestinian Authority to take immediate measures to consolidate its security services.

The Council states: "The Palestinian Authority must concretely demonstrate its determination in the fight against extremist violence and urges the PA and its President to take immediate, decisive steps to...
