17/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - For the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on 17 October, an evening debate on "The involvement of the poorest populations in sustainable development" took place in Brussels, with the participation of Eugen Brand, Delegate General of the international movement ATD Fourth World, and Maria Joao Rodrigues who played a very important, well-known role in the team of Prime Minister Guterres during preparations for the Lisbon strategy.
