De Sarnez report suggests EUR 230 million budget for Community programme Erasmus Mundus (2004-2008)

Brussels, 08/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - During its meeting of 29 September, the EP Committee on Culture adopted a draft recommendation for second reading concerning the Community programme, Erasmus Mundus (2004-2008). The rapporteur of the draft is Mariele De Sarnez (UDF, France).

With the adoption of this report, and after long discussions with the Council, the parliamentary committee proposes to increase the budget of the Erasmus Mundus programme to EUR 230 million for the period...
