06/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is calling on interested parties to comment on the acquisition of Switzerland's third largest food consumer goods retailer Bon Appétit Group AG by Germany's REWE-Beteiligungs International GmbH. The share acquisition deal was notified on 11 June by the German company, the third largest retailer in the EU. The Commission is expected to give its verdict on 26 August. Third parties have until 12 August to submit their observations.
