06/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 26 August or thereabouts, the European Commission is expected to announce its decision on the Electricité de France (EDF)'s acquisition of the UK's EDF Trading Ltd. EDF Trading trades in energy related products on the stock markets, pools and EU energy markets. It is currently jointly owned by EDF and Louis Dreyfus. Interested parties have until 12 August to submit their comments about the deal.
