2.5 million EUR for border management and police reform programmes in Central ASIA

Brussels, 15/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission adopted a decision on Tuesday to grant 2.5 million EUR for border management and police reform programmes in Central Asia under its Rapid Reaction Mechanism. The aim is to improve the region's capabilities to fight the illicit trafficking of drugs, arms and human beings.
