Rome, 14/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Stability Pact is indeed a stability pact but it is also a growth pact, Italian European Affairs Minister Rocco Buttiglione told around fifty accredited journalists invited to Rome by the Italian Presidency on Saturday after the informal meeting that brought together the ministers in charge of EU competitiveness policy (internal market, research, industry).
