Cocobu meets Wednesday to assess follow-up to embezzlement at Eurostat

Brussels, 10/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Parliamentary committee for budgetary control (Cocobu) will be meeting for a special meeting on Wednesday to attempt to reach agreement on the conclusions concerning the embezzlement committed at Eurostat over many years. The meeting aims to find a way of revealing why the Commission took so long to rectify these common practices in this body.
