ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) satellites

The French THALES group(defence electronics) is going to obtain a 12% stake in GALILEO INDUSTRIES. This project aims to create the number one European satellite navigation system. It will be participating with other shareholders: ALCATEL SPACE, ALENIA SPAZIO and EADS which have each have a 19% stake, as well as the Spanish company GSS (12%).
