EU welcomes green light for "Kimberly" programme on war diamonds

Brussels, 16/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - the European Union has welcomed the "green light" from the WTO to the certification programme for rough diamonds, implemented as part of the Kimberly process on "war diamonds". Commissioner Lamy sees in it a, "clear demonstration of coherency in international rules".
