GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/baltic states

25/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - Ministers from the three Baltic states, Lithuanian, Antanas Valionis, Latvian Sandra Kalniete and Estonian Kristiina Ojuland will be meeting with French politicians and businessmen on Tuesday in Paris to discuss the role of their region in the enlarged EU and NATO. They will be taking part in a conference, "Europe and the Baltic States after Prague and Copenhagen" at the French Institute of International Relations during which, President of the French Senate, Christian Poncelet, former French Prime Minister, Edouard Baladur and Secretary of State at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carsten Sonergard.
