Brussels, 25/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and the United Kingdom discreetly dined together on Thursday evening in Brussels, thus marking their desire for reconciliation after the division caused over the Iraqi question. Javier Solana was also at this two-hour long dinner alongside Dominique de Villepin, Jack Straw and Joschka Fischer, a dinner allowing a general overview of the international situation to be made, with priority being placed on the situation in the Middle East, diplomatic sources said. "It was a dinner between friends", Mr Solana simply commented. The dinner was held at the initiative of Mr Fischer, one European diplomat said.
