Brussels Summit calls for education policy independent of economic side - Viviane Reding believes education should remain under Member State responsibility

Brussels, 03/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - Meeting informally in Athens on 1 and 2 March under the chairmanship of Petros Efthymiou, the EU ministers called upon Heads of State and Government, at their Summit on 21 March in Brussels, to consider education policy as something quite separate from economic policy.
