28/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The International Public Transport Union (IPTU) has carried out a study demonstrating that public transport allows people to get around quicker than private transport, particularly by car. IPTU noted, however, that this was particularly the case in cities with well developed separate lanes for public transport.
