28/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - Visiting the Spanish Basque country, European Commissioner Erkki Liikanen expressed support for the Basque government's efforts to cut the "digital divide". According to the Spanish press agency EFE, Industry minister Josu Jonimaz outlined the results of the Euskadi Information Society Plan to the Commissioner.
