25/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised: the joint acquisition of the French publisher, Catherine Nemo, by the German and Italian publishing groups, Burda and Holding di Partecipazioni Industiali, respectively; as well as the acquisition by Bain Capital Investors subsidiaries (USA) of several companies belonging to the French group SigmaKalon (decorative paintings). These two decisions were adopted according to accelerated procedure.
