ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

US energy production group, DEVON ENERGY, has bought out its counterpart, OCEAN ENERGY, for approximately USD 5.3 bn, creating the largest independent oil and natural gas producer in the USA with 650,000 barrels of oil produced every day. OCEAN ENERGY shareholders will receive 0.414 of DEVON ENERGY shares for every other share.
