Loan for road infrastructure in Saarland

Luxembourg, 19/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The vice-president of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Wolfgang Roth, together with Mr Jacoby, Finance and Affairs Minister in the Land of Saarland, and Mr Häring and Mr Severin, president and vice-president of the board of SaarLB bank, signed a contract for a long-term loan to fund road infrastructure in Saarland. This loan, for 80 million euros, will finance the improvement of existing roads and the construction of new roads and bridges.
