Spain obliged to recover aid from Hilados y Tejidos Puigneró

Brussels, 19/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided that Spain had to recover outstanding tax and social security debts from the undertaking Hilados y Tejidos Puigneró S.A, which by 2000, amounted to € 104 million. The company further benefited from various loans and loan guarantees granted by the Catalan Finance Institute. Spain has so far failed to recover the aid from the beneficiary. Hilados y Tejidos Puigneró S.A produces yarns, fabrics and finished textile...
