Humanitarian aid to victims of civil war in Sudan

Brussels, 29/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to the victims of the ongoing crisis in Sudan with the adoption of a Global Plan for 2003 worth €20 million for humanitarian needs. Commenting on this decision, Poul Nielson, Commissioner underlined the importance of "continuing solidarity for the most vulnerable.
