Red Electrica and CVC may control assets of Iberdrola

Brussels, 07/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised Red Electrica Espanola and CVC Capital Partners Group to take joint control of the high voltage electricity transmission network of Spain's Iberdrola. Red Electrica is specialised in the transmission of electricity and is in charge of the operation of the electricity system in Spain.
