To date, Union has mobilised 328.2 million euro to respond to unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Southern Africa

Brussels, 19/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Aid the European Union has given Southern Africa in response to the unprecedented crisis affecting the region amounts to 328.2 million euro. Of this total, 177 million is being directly managed by the Commission, and 151.2 million allocated by Member States under bilateral aid.
