DEUTSCHE TELEKOM has sold the 10.87% stake that it held in the European satellite operator EUTELSAT to the Italian group DE AGOSTINI for the sum of EUR 210 million. The large part of this sum was transferred in liquid assets and the rest in the form of a 27% stake in the new joint venture of which DE AGOSTINI will hold the remaining 73%. A third shareholder, 21 INVEST (BENETTON group), should enter the company with a level of participation still to be defined.
