ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) investment

- France: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in France increased 26% in 2001, the External Trade Minister states in the annual progress report for 2001. Some EUR 58.8 billion thus entered France last year. The country nonetheless remains far behind Germany, the United Kingdom and the Benelux countries when it comes to FDI flow.
