Prodi and Solana highlight challenges faced by new Turkish government

Brussels, 18/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Tayyip Erdogan, leader of the party that won the 3 November elections in Turkey, will be meeting Romano Prodi in Brussels on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Prodi has congratulated the new Turkish prime minister, Abdullah Gül, adding: "We are confidence that Turkey will pursue its reform process.
