14/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Through the written procedure on 30 October, the Council and European Parliament adopted the agreement to have emerged from conciliation on the draft regulation aimed at establishing common safety measures in civil aviation. According to the co-decision procedure, the agreement must now be confirmed by Parliament on third reading (normally at the Strasbourg plenary session from 16 to 19 December) and the Council (qualified majority).
