14/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the Council of EU Ministers adopted without debate, a regulation that will involve the non-application of an additional removal (financial sanction applied when milk quotas are exceeded) from local production from the Portuguese islands of the Azores and Madeira (4,000 tons of milk). Only the Portuguese delegation voted against the text.
