21/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - Last week French and Danish feta producers asked their governments to lodge a complaint with the Court of Justice to cancel the reservation of the "feta" cheese label to cheeses made in certain regions f Greece (see EUROPE 18 October p 12). Not so much sticklers for regulation, the Cypriots intend, according to the Alithia newspaper, to bypass legislation by doubling the letter "t" in the word "feta".
