Commission decides to deepen its probe into joint control of GVS by ENBW and ENI

Brussels, 17/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European commission decided to undertake an in-depth investigation into the proposed joint acquisition of the German regional gas distributor Gazversorgung Suddeutschland (GVS) by the Italian energy company ENI and Energie Baden-Wurttemberg (EnBW), which is a subsidiary of the French EDF.
