Algerian foreign minister asks MEPs for "mea culpa" and calls for effective solidarity in the face of terrorism

Brussels, 12/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 10 September, the Algerian foreign minister Abdelaziz BelKhadem reaffirmed that Algeria did not agree to early implementation of the trade measures from the Association Agreement currently undergoing ratification. Addressing the EP's Foreign Affairs Committee, he focussed, however, on terrorism.
