12/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Informed sources have indicated that during the informal meeting of Government Heads of the EPP family at the Silvio Berlusconi residence in Sardinia, several participants, notably José Aznar and Jan-Perre Raffarin outlined a conclusion for negotiating a new EU treaty at the end of 2003 under the Italian Presidency after the presentation of the European Convention project in Salonika on 20-21 June (see EUROPE yesterday p 7).
