Brussels, 20/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - Hawkswere will be sponsoring a seminar, on 17 and 18 October, on strategies for lobbying the EP, Council or Commission, entitled "Lobbying and Decision-making in Europe". The event will be chaired by former Member of the EP Bryan Cassidy (UK, Conservative). Russell Patten, of Hill and Knowlton, will conduct a lobbying simulation exercise, while David Wilkins (Eurogroup for animal welfare) and Eric Mahr (Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering) will present case studies of successful campaigns in the areas of animal welfare and competition policy.
