Brussels, 20/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - Beijing will host, on 7 and 8 November of this year, the biggest trade fair ever organised by the European Union and China to promote bilateral trade in goods, services and investments. This fourth Sino-European Partnership will be a showcase for more than 800 exhibitors. Half are European small and medium-sized enterprises and the other half Chinese SMEs based in cities or provinces undergoing rapid growth, like Shanghaï, Shenzhen, Heilongjiang, Guangdong and Zhejiang. The sectors concerned represent many of Europe's strong points on global markets, notably telecoms, environmental protection, food and beverages, information technologies, electrical and building equipment, metals, machinery and engineering, and so on. Special German designed software will be used to support the negotiation of the some 5,000 business deals expected to be concluded at the fair.
