Brussels, 26/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The negotiations meetings that will be held on 29/30 July at deputy level (the first such meetings under the Danish Presidency) with ten of the twelve candidate countries should enable most of them to close one or more additional chapters. The most advanced countries should be able to remove most "technical dossiers" from the negotiating table ahead of the final negotiations in the autumn on the sensitive issues of finance and the budget.
