Brussels, 22/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the General Affairs Council adopted conclusions on the EU's external actions against terrorism, in which it notes that the European Council of Copenhagen will assess the action taken by the EU. These actions particularly target: revising and amending some foreign relations aspects with third countries, which are involved in the war on terrorism, including, if the case arises contractual relations; focusing political dialogue more sharply on particular countries on this question; working on non-proliferation and disarmament; developing a common evaluation of the terrorist threat against Member States and the forces deployed under ESDP outside the Union; helping ESDP take more account of the capabilities required to combat terrorism, as outlined in the European Summit of Seville.
