Commission presents results of its annual assessment exercise - 135 reserves identified by Directors General

Brussels, 22/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission is expected to discuss and adopt a communication (the first of its kind), which summarises the annual reports made by its 35 Directors General and Heads of Service. The document (presented by Commissioner Neil Kinnock) contains not only Statements of Assurance but also 135 reserves expressed or observations made by the Directors General and Department Heads on the action carried out by their subordinates, the use of...
