Fortis authorised to buy up Bernheim-Comofi

Brussels, 10/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the proposed acquisition of Belgian real estate company Bernheim-Comofi by Belgo-Dutch company Fortis AG, an insurance company focusing on life and non-life insurance activities with real estate management activities. Bernheim-Comofi SA is active in the real estate sector, primarily in Belgium and operates public car parks through its subsidiary Interparking.
