Sweden's TELIA has bought up KPNQWEST's French subsidiary (which has been in liquidation since 6 June 2002) via its subsidiary TELIA INTERNATIONAL CARRIER in a deal worth around EUR 3 million. According to the Financial Times, KPN is preparing to bid EUR 20 million for a "substantial" share of KPNQWEST's network.
