10/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Taxpayers Association of Europe has appointed the Luxembourg Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Jean-Claude Juncker and the former co-ordinator of the Stability Pact in the Balkans, Bodo Homach, as winners of the "European Bull" prize. The association praises the role of Jean-Clauede Juncker in defending the interests of tax payers and the stability of the Euro and Bodo Hombach's efforts in the effective use of public money by linking European aid in the Balkans to the fight against crime and corruption and the implemntation of fiscal and customs legislation to European standards. The 2001 prize was awarded by the President of the European Bank, Wim Duisenberg.
