Court cancels appointment of Fabrizio Barbaso as Deputy Director General at DG Agriculture

Luxembourg, 10/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of First Instance has annulled the European Commission's 13 September 2000 decision to appoint Fabrizio Barbaso as Deputy Director General at DG Agriculture. Dutch official Alexander Tilgenkamp (currently Director at DG Agriculture), an unsuccessful candidate for the position, took the Commission to court over the issue.
