Brussels, 28/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana is taking part at the first annual conference of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) headed by Nicole Gnesotto, in Paris on 1 July. The conference coincides with the official inauguration of the Institute's headquarters in Paris, Institute that, since 1 January 2002 is an autonomous agency of the European Union, and which is engaged in research into defence issues, preparing analyses to the attention of the EU Council and its bodies, and contributing in the development of the transatlantic dialogue (For its publications, check-out: http://www.iss-eu.org ).
