Hearing on "children first"

Brussels, 24/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Economic and Social Committee is organising for 25 June in Brussels a hearing on the theme "Children First". It will be attended by ESC President Göke Frerichs, European ESC rapporteur and President of the Association of Child-Friendly Cities Georgios Sklavounos, and Anna Karamanou, Arlene McCarthy and Lissy Gröner, MEPs. Representatives of a wide range of organisations dealing with children and youth policies will discuss welfare and social policies for children and youth, children in the city, and child-friendly justice.
