Massive support for Commission's guidelines on Web-site accessibility

Strasbourg, 17/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the Bastiaan Belder Report (the Netherlands, EDD), on 13 June, the European Parliament provided its frank and massive support for the guidelines defined by the Commission regarding accessibility to Web-sites and their content (see EUROPE of 26 September 2001). You may recall that these guidelines mainly provide for the lifting of obstacles to access to Web-sites and to ensure that future Web technologies and information systems will not...
